Last week 3-2. Overall 30-5.

Meyersdale (5-2) at Conemaugh Township (7-0) - Two hot teams going at it here. Red Raiders have won 4 straight, but the Indians have 4 straight shutouts. I think Meyersdale will make this one interesting but CT's defense will come up big again in a 21-7 win.

Conemaugh Valley (1-6) at Ferndale (3-4) - Yellow Jackets are in good shape to make the D6A playoffs for the first time in a long time with 2 winnable games left on their schedule. Look for them to take care of the Blue Jays 28-14.  

Blacklick Valley (1-6) at Shade (3-4) - Good job Vikings getting on the board last week. Shade just can't seem to get past Meyersdale. I still think they are a dangerous team if they can limit turnovers. Panthers have been playing teams tough but can't quite get that big win. They will get to .500 on Friday to solidify their playoff chances. Shade 34-0.
 
Windber (2-5) at North Star (1-6) - Windber needs this one if they have any hopes of sneaking into the D5A playoffs. Evan Quinn is having a nice year leading the league in rushing with 1137 yards. Cougars are reeling after the loss to BV last week and have not been able to get anything going offensively. Ramblers keep slim playoff hopes alive 21-7.

Berlin (6-1) at Portage (6-1) - Both teams only loss is to Township. Both teams have similar numbers averaging around 300 yards per game rushing. They also have similar scores among common opponents, so one would expect this to be a close game. I just don't see that happening. Berlin is really struggling on offense since they lost Booth to injury. Not much push up front, no passing game, and turning the ball over frequently. Portage is rolling and have the best athlete on the field in St. Clair. I think Portage capitalizes on Mountaineer mistakes and rolls in this one 35-0.

CT is basically a lock at 1.
2-4 looks to be Mey, NB, and Shade. NB would have any tiebreakers over Mey and Shade with an AA win over West Branch.

NB has a tough remaining schedule with CK, Mt Union, and Bellwood. With one win they probably lock up the 3 seed as it would take 6 wins for Shade to bump them.

Yeah, semifinals will most likely be NB vs. Meyersdale and Shade at CT.

Stang4life what is Llewellyn's status for Friday night? Saw he had to get carried off at Windber with what looked to be a knee injury. Portage can ill afford to have another starting two way lineman out after Fox blew his knee out first game of the season.

Seen he was up on his leg at the powderpuff girls football game Saturday, he didn't have a brace on, don't know his status for this week though..?

Love your post every week. But, think your Portage - Berlin score is a bit off. Berlin has alot of weapons left and are certainly too well coached for a lopsided score like that. It's going to be a much closer, hard fought game. I think probably the last team with the ball will squeak out a win..

I hope it is a good game, but if Berlin keeps turning the ball over and making mistakes it could be a lopsided score.
