I counted 4 shots (including the half court heave at the buzzer) taken in the entire last 6 minutes of the 3rd Qtr.!!
J-town holding the ball nearly backfired, I thought Traino did the right thing sitting in the zone and letting them hold as coming out m to m would have doomed them sooner. Big play, my opinion was Tullis blocked shot in mid 4th off of backdoor layup opportunity with Trojans holding a slim 2 pt. lead.
Other Semi Lewistown 49 Central 43

Back and forth through the first half of the game. Lewistown was blocking shot after shot and Jimmy Snyder was keeping Central in the game. CHS got down by 9, but made a run in the 4th to get the margin back to 2. Lewistown hit freethrow after freethrow to keep Central from coming back for the win.
The one kid from Lewistown through one down in the 3rd quarter.
CHS's crowd was NUTS tonight, but Lewistown had more fans there because of location and the fact that their girls played in game 2. CHS and CC should be a GREAT game. I am taking Johnstown over Lewistown in the finals.

I think CHS would have been able to win this game if they would have had a few more shooters from the outside. When it went down low, the shots were often changed or blocked. At times though, CHS's players made nice moves to the hoop and got off pretty nice shots. When Lewistown tightened on D, CHS was having trouble finding a shot from outside or in. Snyder was making moves to the basket that no one was really stopping from Lewistown, and I believe he could have basically done it all night. The speed of Jtown will really hurt Lewistown I think. The Mountain Conference or Big 8, whatever it is, has more of a bang em up style. It will be brawn vs. speed in the finals.

was suprised coach forshey didn't have a different diffensive game plan prepared for Lewistown. Central stayed in their man defense the whole. after seeing Lewistown play the previous game would've expected to see Central focus all their defense on Stewart and Holton. the two stars accounted for 32 of the 49 points. otherwise good game. thought the Dragons played about as well as they could against a solid team.
was surprised that Lewiston's point guard was able to neutralize Stoltz, who i think is one of the better point guards in the area.
