Purchase Line Head Coach
Purchase Line Head Coach
Rumor has it that Brandon Overdorff will no longer be the Head Football Coach at Purchase Line. I heard that the School Board opened up the position and he was told not to reapply.

That's a shame. He was doing well there and they have a nice nucleus coming back for 2017.
Re: Purchase Line Head Coach
I heard there was a team meeting, or something similar, to this effect last week, where the players were told that he would not be returning.
This change has been rumored for quite some time. Between him being a bit of a hot head, the parents being outrageous regarding kids' playing time, and an administration with a quick trigger pull, that's not going to be a terribly desirable job to fill, aside from knowing there are some athletes there.

It seems like every set of parents has become outrageous. It seems like every administration has a quick trigger pull. If there are some athletes someone will want the job.Hush1 wrote:I heard there was a team meeting, or something similar, to this effect last week, where the players were told that he would not be returning.

They have several very good athletes coming back including All-Westpa ath 2,000 yard rusher Shamar Campbell.ChrisKentRam wrote:It seems like every set of parents has become outrageous. I know from parents of players (including my relatives) there was some outrage over some "techniques" he was teaching. Also are they sure he is being replaced? I believe PL opens there coaching positions every year. I will have to make some calls.LVCoachFoust wrote:That's a shame. He was doing well there and they have a nice nucleus coming back for 2017.
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever!!!

Thanks youngbuck, but no thanks. I'm good at LV. They'll find someone to do the job. We don't play them until Week 9. Shamar and company will be exciting to watch this year.
