in my opinion, the heritage in boys basketball goes to bedford county
but today i think basketball means more to fulton county and those three fulton county schools, even with some bedford schools double their size, have more fans per students and have a love for the game that is unmatched
you gotta love when kids cant even focus in their 2nd period class because theyre thinking about that nights game.......and thats not even the players, thats the fans, im not sure if the environment is like that in bedford, but it is in fulton county.....
you cant really say that southern fultons two championships settles the talent arguement due the the three AA schools in bedford county.....
and im not questioning anyone who posts on here.......cause if you have the love of the game to come on here and post about it......you are no doubt a good fan, but think of your community as a whole, how much does bball effect it?

Name the best players and teams from both Counties. It is not even close because Bedford County dominates everything in hoops between all those schools in both of those Counties. Look in D-5 Class A, there was an arguement that Fulton County wanted to host a second round playoff game because always a Bedford County team would be #1 seed which means they have to play closer to there school for being the higher seed. I think NB went to McConnellsburg to play Southern Fulton and NB smacked them on there way to their 3rd Straight D-5 title!!Any Comments please ADD.

I look at Bedford and Fulton Counties as one and the same...it's called the Sideling Hill League and teams from both counties hve had their moments. Don't forget their are more schools in Bed. Co. and all the "AA's" come from Bedford Co. also in comparing....Flipside is no Fulton Co. schools have Wrestling to compete for athletes at their school's either.
Have no opinion on this but just wanted to point out a few facts.
