Better than expected team of the season

Post by youngbuck »

BC has three wins?
Bedford has played some good football, Westmont is also solid
Are Berlin and Bellwood better than expected?

BC does have 3, but those 3 wins came against teams with a combined record of 1-14. Central Cambria has 2 wins, but again those 2 wins came against teams with a combined record of 1-9. If either of those teams win 2-3 more by the end of the season it could be one of them. Central Cambia started the year with Johnstown and Penn Cambria, then went up against Westmont, BG, and Bedford and it gets no easier this week vs Chestnut Ridge. But then their schedule eases up a bit with Forest Hills, Cambria Heights, Bishop McCort, and Somerset, they could win a few of those, but they could also lose all four.

BC goes up against 1-4 Huntingdon this week, then their last four opponents are a combined 15-5. We'll see how they finish up.

At this time of the season, I would go with Bedford, they appear to be pretty young. I saw them play and was impressed. Most of the other teams are about where I expected them to be.

Not to be a homer, but I honestly think in the LHAC CC  in the eyes of many is better than expected. I’d say most had them maybe beating Johnstown, and now winning 4 games is not unrealistic
