Central Cambria.
As a CCHS alum and former player, it’s painful to watch what this program has become. The hiring of Klezek for $12k a year is a joke, and the product on the field proves it. Tonight, I left in the third quarter because it was unwatchable.
This is the same staff from the McGregor era, just reshuffled into different titles. Past head coaches still have their hands in decisions, and the results haven’t changed in nearly 30 years. Until there’s a complete reset, this program will stay stuck on the same carousel.
As I walked out, I saw the AD at the gate, and I honestly wanted to ask for my money back. My tax dollars shouldn’t fund this circus. The players, the alumni, and this community all deserve so much better than what we’re being given.

The things is your AD could care less, because it doesn't impact his cross country or track team.

Fyfe wasn’t new???? He drove 40+ minutes to coach, had a more talented team the last 3 years on paper, and had less results. He had an entirely new staff. Fans like you are insufferable.Perm342002 wrote: September 19th, 2025, 11:17 pm Enzo because it is not anyone new. It’s the same staff just moved people around.

The baseball team went 6-10 the year they opened the position and brought in someone new (who wasn’t really new he was coaching the junior high team). His first year they went 4-13. Then the following year they won D6. Should we have called for his position after that first year?EnzoLigoniere wrote: September 19th, 2025, 11:13 pm Didnt the baseball team have success bringing in some one new? why cant football do the same?
Yet miserable fans like Perm expect immediate results 5 games into a coach’s 1st season, despite doing nothing to contribute to the program besides sit in the stands and complain about how they “deserve better”.
Klezek is a knowlegable coach, as are his staff, and from what I hear the kids love him. I hardly think losing to a team that will likely finish 8-2 in the conference or better is cause for complaint. PC was way bigger up front and have good skill kids. I’d love to know what solutions Perm would bring to the table but alas it’s easier to sit and criticize from the bleachers.
Re: Central Cambria.
Your answer is the same every year, defend defend defend. Terrible on field regardless if it is Shutty, Fye, Klezak, McGregor.
How many weeks can you have a qb throw for less than 20 yards and realize Klezak is clueless.
He is a nice person, but has been part of the problem, yes the kids like him because he does not correct anything.

If you know him then you would know how incredibly false this statement is….
Why not defend? You just named what, 5 coaches. At what point do athletes and parents have some accountability? But again, it’s easier to blame coaches than to help lead any change
