was it me or did the first place times and distances seem rather..um..weak? i know its the first meet of the season but i hope they improve greatly.

No, it isnt just you. I thought the times and distances were well...putting it bluntly...pathetic. Even if it was just the first meet, those times shouldnt have been that bad, especially since the weather was reasonably nice. I would expect the times for tonights meets to be fairly off since its so cold and wet out, but I'm not sure what the excuse is for these two teams.

It wasn't just you. 36 feet for the shot, 11:57 for the two mile, and 12.2 for the 100. Those are not good marks for their respective events. However, to Isaac Curry's credit, he did run a 5:00 for the one mile, so that made it not too horrible looking there.

I don't know about Tussey, but some of SF's athletes were on a field trip that day. FBLA State Conference I believe.
