The National Champion UConn Huskies!!!!

Post by Coach »

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......HUSKIES!

Loads of young talent on the team as well. Okafor, Gordon, Boone, yeah man yeah....I am pumped.

HUSKIES....HUSKIES....HUSKIES....Man I wish I was there. I am no bandwagon guy either. I've been behind this team since before Ray Allen. This is #2 since '99. The Huskies are a MAJOR program and a force to be reckoned with!

im right there w/ you coach. after calhoun was critized for not being able to get to the show after losing several times in the elite 8, he is now 4-0 in final four and championship games.

No school has ever won both the men's and women's ncaa tourneys in the same year. History could be made tomorrow night. I'm not UCONN fan but that's pretty neat.

i hate them, but its true, connecticut has a stranglehold on college basketball nowadays. but at least duke has a stranglehold on choking nowadays too. its something i guess.

How is UCONN gonna look next year though... Gordon, Okafor, T Brown and possibily Charlie V are all going to me major losses for the Huskies. Their top two players... their point guard... and a pretty decent player all being gone will deffinately hurt them big time.

Boooooone will be back

The transfer from Ga Tech will be eligible.

They are an elite program now for sure. As a team like Duke does...the players will just continue filing in. Everyone thought Caron Butler's early departure would do them in...imagine if he had been around too!

Will Gordon leave this year or not??? Villeneuve won't leave surely.
Either way , they will be very strong next year.

That's two years running for the Big East, and they'll only get stronger with the teams that they are adding. They lose Syracuse, BC, and Miami--but the schools replacing them will make the Big East a Beast in NCAA Basketball for years to come
