Best teams of all time!

Post by fleaflicker »

Who do you think are some of the best teams of all time? I have three football teams to nominate, in the Steelers from 1774-1980, the Buffalo Bills in 1990-1993 (four straight trips to the Super Bowl, even if they did lose), and the 1972 Miami Dolphins, that went 14-0 in the regular season, then won all the playoff games in route to a Super Bowl championship.
Also, Duke's basketball team recently is of note, as well as the Philadelphia Eagle's football team. Who else?

Manchester United has won 8 of 12 English Premier League titles, they are also the only team in history to win the Treble, which is the English Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League, all in one season, the FA Cup is a tournament for all teams in England to determine who the best in the country is, the UEFA Champions League is a tournament for the top 4 teams from each country to determine who the best team in all of Europe is.

oh yeah, the last year the Bulls where together. that team had guys riding pine that could have started anywhere. Best record in NBA history, and most importantly.....THEY PLAYED LIKE A TEAM. more than the poorly purchased lakers can say now.

The Lakers didn't buy Payton or Malone.. both signed contracts for considerably less then they could have for other teams. Both wanted to come play for the Lakers for a chance to win a title. Lakers and Spurs should be a heck of a match up in the second round... the winner will win the title.

First, Gummer what are you talking about? Are these sports teams or is this the beer-chugging champioships at the local pubs?

Best team dynasty

Basketball: UCLA under John Wooden won like 10 in a row NCAA's

Baseball: Yankees in the 20's Babe Ruth and Lou Gehring

Football: Steelers of the late 70's
