DIST 5 MEDAL WINNERS AT STATES

Post by noname »

Ok track fans. Lets predict how many medal winners Dist 5 will have this year and name some of these guys and gals. I think Hess could be a 6,7,8 place winner in shot or discuss or both. He is right there with his dist throws. Bedford relays wow these guys don't want to jinx them should be a heavy favorite to medal and the 4x100 looks really good right now maybe even a top 3 in this?? Young man from Meyersdale is running the 3200 and is a possibility. What about the gals??? Berlin has some studettes but I don't know much about the girls. Berlin javelin thrower for guys has some potential. Lets here the predictions.

I think Bedford's 3200 relay has a good chance to place at states.

Is Elder doubling at states???? Almost impossible with them running the 3200 meter run in the morning close to the 1600 finals instead of in the normal order.

I'll predict Elder in whichever race to be the only girls medalist and Bedford's 4 x 1, 4x4 relays to medal. Individually I think Perkosky (110H), Young (PV),Harris (300H if healthy), and D.Harris (LJ) are the best shots.

Lot's of good Shot Putters out there noname...he better put it 54' to medal....60' + guy from Sharon should win it, then there's a ton of guys in the mid 50's.

in the 110's, the first place time was 14.85, the kid that got 8th place ran 24.69 but he must have fallen or something because he ran a 14.83 in the prelims. the kid that finished 7th place ran 15.59 and the 8th slowest prelim time (slowest time to qualify for finals) was a 15.17
