Bedford Coach Resigns

Post by TheAnalyst »

Coach Topper has resigned as head wrestling coach at Bedford after two so-so seasons. I was a little surprised that he is leaving so soon.

Any thoughts on who will be taking his place?

That's a shame. The Topper's are a class act.

I heard Marko would be applying for the job. That's just a rumor I heard though.

no way! coach marko is happy where he is. besides his wife teaches at claysburg also. why would he want to leave? claysburg has done more since he's been here than bedford anyways.

i wonder if they will hire someone from within the bedford program like they have the past few years or if they will try to hire someone from out of the area...

i sure would like to see bedford become a power again for the sake of district 5 competition. a strong bedford team only makes the competition better and the district stronger. good luck bedford i hope you pick the right coach to bring back your glory days

Bulldog don't be to surprised cause he applied 2 years ago when Topper got the job. It is to bad that he resigned but the Bison's I think are going to have to start being satisfied with mediocrity cause that is the future as I see it. I know it will be tough to handle at first but learning to do new things is a part of life that everyone must do from time to time.

not sure where you get your information from bosshog, but's a lie. i do think you may be right about bedford and being mediocre for a while.

I could see a reason for Marko leaving Claysburg. After this year, the program at CK is going way down hill. Bedford will be up and rising. With a coach like him, they'd be back on top very quickly.
