Remembering the Fallen in Iraq

Post by fleaflicker »

Tomorrow is Memorial Day as I post this, and let us not forget those who have fallen in fighting for our great nation. If any of you have seen the Doonesbury cartoon for today, it was a list of the American soldiers who have died in Iraq. I think that was really appropiate of the cartoonist to remind us of the men that have died in service for this country, and to remind us that this isn't just a three day weekend. It is a day for remembering the dead. Here is a list of all the coalition members who have died in Iraq. It is in alphebetical order. This list was obtained from
http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/f ... page3.html .

This list has the name, age, unit, hometown, and details about each person's death. It reflects only those whose families have been informed by their country of their demise. There are 916 coalition members here, 806 Americans, 59 Britons men, 18 Italians, 11 Spaniards, 6 Bulgarians, 6 Ukrainians, 4 Poles, 2 Thai, 1 Dane, 1 Dutch, and 1 Estonian. This list is current as of May 28, 2004.
