curve on fire!

the altoona curve have recently gone ablaze. they currently sit 3 games in first place after sweeping a double header against second place erie last night. any thoughts on this sudden turnaround?

Yeah my one thought to get out there...

At the beginning of the year I told people to watch out for 2B Jeff Keppinger.

Kep is at over .400 and leading the EL in avg the last I saw a few days ago!!!

Does he hit leadoff, because i was at one game last week and he was 4-4 with i think 3 bunts for a basehit.

Brooke doesn't go to the curve games, but im sure you can sit beside me dean, but with your work and legion games, we never get to be together :cry:

it has been a while since people have said some thing about the curve. but since i go there a lot they are still doing very well. but they lost tonight. they still r in first place

I was reading the USA Today yesterday and Keppinger is 2nd in all AA in batting average.

Things are looking even better with this news....

The Pirates yesterday promoted 1B Brad Eldred from Class A Lynchburg to Class AA Altoona, which probably isn't good for Curve 1B Josh Bonifay. Eldred, who had a .310 batting average and led the Carolina League with 21 home runs and 77 RBIs in 99 games, is scheduled to play first base every day for Altoona.
