I think you're starting to get spread out a little too far with topics, let it stay under football on a thread. If scores have another forum, then there's another couple minutes bouncing around.

Re: WEEK 2 Scrimmages
Tyrone at Chestnut Ridge
Ridge, I'd give an A+ for effort, and an overall grade of B+. The Lions were wound up to play and looked pretty tough,BG is gonna have their hands full next week. I was particularly impressed with the left side LB on Ridge's defense. That kid flys to the ball and makes plays.
Tyrone, I give a c-, and that's being a little generous I think. They were way too laid back the whole first half, you couldn't tell by watching them on the sidelines whether they were at practice or at a game. I know having the starting QB at home sick didn't help, but that should have nothing to do with how everyone approaches these things. I saw 3 year starters making mistakes that they didn't make in Jr high. The only reason they scored a C- in my view is because Tate and VanAllman were pretty much controlling the line while they were in there. They have some folks that need to get a "gutcheck" real quick, or Bellwood and Huntingdon will crash that flashy "Hype plane" they are apparently riding on.

Re: WEEK 2 Scrimmages
Tussey....battled James Buchanan well in a week 1, rain-filled, Saturday scrimmage at Saxton....I'm sure the rain kept coaches from accomplishing all they wanted....(passes slipping out of players' hands...& so forth)...week 2 scrimmage, too far east to Lewistown for me to attend or hear about. Some changes in assistant coaching personnel makes for an improved situation.

Re: WEEK 2 Scrimmages
Bedford's scrimmage vs. BC went reasonably well for both squads. Both teams scored during the first part of the scrimmage, when each team had 10 downs. I think BC went on to score 2 touchdowns to Bedford's 1 in the regulation half that was played. Bishop Carroll is pretty big, as usual, and Bedford didn't tackle very well. Both teams had room to improve, but that's why this was only a scrimmage.

Re: WEEK 2 Scrimmages
Northern is showing a vast improvement over last season. They scored several times in their scimmage vrs. Shade. However they were stuffed 2-3 times inside the 10. Shade had several starters that were injured. I think that NB had a good scrimmage that they can build upon for week 1.
