I say false. Both teams milk the curse for all its worth to get all hyped up come postseason, but even when they come so close to getting there, they just let their actual belief in the curse screw them over. There's no REAL curse...just that they blow it in the postseason.

Yes, I am a Yankees fan. Yes, I think Derek Jeter is hot. Yes, Orlando Hernandez is a pitching god. And yes.....I think that Cubbies and the BoSox are gonna choke in the postseason. Its not a curse...its tradition.

I really don't think the teams milk the curse, it's the media. If you ask the players they will tell you they don't believe in a curse. i"m not sure if there is or not...but if anything is going to reverse a curse for the Sox it might be the trading of Nomar. I think the Sox have a good chance this year, and even if they dont win I don't see the Yankees winning with their starting rotation...so I say fact for the Red Sox will finally break it.
