Bedford Helmet Change

Unless I missed this topic weeks ago I'm surprised that no one has commented on the fancy new uniforms and bison decal on Bedford's helmet.

Sentiments from former Bedford players that I know has not been real positive.

I like the new look but they old Bedford players did not like the break from tradition.

Any thoughts

The uni's were that way last year, the decal on the side of the helmets are new as of this year. I like it, at first I wasn't real fond of breaking the plane jane look of all the years past, but if you want to look at the past, the helmet's of many many moons ago had some sort of logo on the side. It's the logo that has been used on all the shirts that bison football players have been getting since the reign of Wes Swaim began. Its a good thing and I think, overall, it has been taken in quite well.

How about the eye black stickers that the bisons are offered before each game also? There are two types, one with the logo on the side of the helmet etched in the black on the sticker, and one more that i can't think of right now. This is the only thing that I can see as unneeded for the uni's...

The logo is a nice change on the Befford helmet, I sorta like it.

I am kinda partial to the Bedford Tradition of the plain uniforms!! They were not cool looking but they were our trademark. But I guess as long as they win and keep the Bedford tradition alive, who cares about what the uniforms look like.

The logo has been working well for the Bison this year. You can't complain about 4-0. Just as long as the Bison keep up the tradition I think the logo will work fine.

I'm not a big fan of the logo personally, it looks good and all but ever sicne the change of head coaches they have been doing things that max probably wouldve have let go like one guy wearing high black socks??whats up with that

I almost changed my opinion just because i agreed with holly. I knew there had to be something wrong with it.

I agree the logo looks pretty neat in what pictures i've seen but i haven't seen it in person yet. As for the high black socks...that's just dumb.
