Barry's 700th

Post by count2infinity »

the man that caught Barry Bond's 700th homerun was taken to court over whether he should be allowed to sell the ball or not. The court decided that the ball was now property of the man that caught it and it's his right to do with it what he wishes, this poses my question. If you caught Barry's 700th homerun, what would you do with it?

if I caught Barry's 700th i would give it back to him. I know that if i got a milestone hit i wold want the ball. I hope when Barry hits 756 that it goes in the first row hits a seat and comes back out on the field that way there will be no stupid court cases or anything like that.

oh definately it will but im sayin 700 wont. He will be the only to hit 756 as of now, 2 others have hit 700. Im sayin 700 will bring in less than half a mil.

I heard the ball is worth an estimed $100,000. I would sell it as well. If Barry wants the ball, he can pay for it. Making $20 million a year, I think he can afford the going rate.

The guy on ESPN the other night was saying that the 756 won't be the money maker either. Instead, it will be the last HR Bonds hits: "The Record Setter"
