WVA CHOKES
WVA CHOKES
well that ends that fairytale hypothesis that west virginia had what it takes to be a national champ, even though most of us tend to stay in reality. yeah, psu sucks, but guess what, wva isnt bringing home any hardware either. it was poetic justice, beaten down by a team who realized it was time to jump off that sinking ship that is the big least. i guess there will be many a safe couch in morgantown tonight

Don't you just love it hollywood??? The couch is safe in Morgantown lol. Did you hear the guy on ESPN? "WVU is clearly not a top 10 team". Bummer I was all set for a national championship party at Hollywood's place in Jan.

Well I still think they can win the Big East and I don't know of anyone that said it was going to win the national title. Yeah right none of you all would be at my party for sure. YOU couldn't handle me when I watch my team play because I was part of the success of a great program and none of you did anything for nobody!! Letssssssss Goooooooo Mountaineers!!

Re: WVA CHOKES
I thought all along that the Eers were really overrated. Being beaten by the most over-hyped, overrated team in the country over the last 10 years (VT) proves my point.
WVU's offense is not very good. IT's way too one dimensional and predictable. Rasheed Marshall is a HORRIBLE passing QB and VaTech shut down the run. I thought WVU's defense played well enough to win, however.
That said, this will probably be WVU's only loss of the season, but the trip to Storrs, CT, next weekend will be absolutely no picnic for the Eers...

Re: WVA CHOKES
You did hit some key points, Marshall is not a throwing QB at all. We needed to use Hales a lot more than we do to win big games!!

Re: WVA CHOKES
i think that wvu got out coached and outplayed
beamer and foster are a great team and when you consitently are able to block punts when everyone prepares for it that says alot. wvu was 0-12 on 3rd down. foster is a genious!!
harris is was overrated as a tailback. he just crumbled in a tough game
tech got themselves ready by playing tough teams early like usc etc. wvu got ready by playing james madison and central florida asnd ECU ect and thinking they were number 7
tech is a middle of the road acc team and wvu is the top dog in the big east. what does that make you think?
wvu will have a tough game against BC for the big east title
if that wvu reciever site adjusts his route at the end, the last ball doesnt get picked off and maybe wvu could have won
i still think wvu is a good team but not top 25

Re: WVA CHOKES
i admit we didnt show up to play. Stupid penelities killed us. However, good buddy how can you say that KJ isnt good he is hurt and hasnt been 100% since ECU. We just have to regroup and win the big east. I dont think we need to worry about "Hardware" a big east championship, big east coach of the year, and a bcs bowl trophy will be plenty of hardware for WVU this season

Re: WVA CHOKES
Of course I love the outcome of the game but I did think WVU called a heck QB draw on 2 and 1. Honestly its the only thing Marshall can do at quarterback.

I should have never listened to Holly or palerider....My Fearless Forecast took a 1 game drop. At least I went against his feelings about Central and got a "W" with the Dragons.
