Tyrone will get their schools' 11th state champ this year. They were an inexperienced refs' sickening call away from it last year.Tate will win, Mertiff,Walk,Albright, and possibly Waite or Miller will all medal. That's just my opinion.
Garrett Scott is a nobrainer. He will dominate again.
I'll go with Valko in the finals too; I like the way he goes after it. Moss should be near the top of the podium too.

Andrew Nave from Everett coached at states last year. This year I think he will be wrestling at states.

TERRY TATE WILL MAKE THE THREE PEAT FOR DISTRICT 6 HWT WINNING A STATE TITLE, I FEEL THIS IS A BIG PAT ON THE BACK FOR DISTRICT 6. I FEEL HE WILL BE HEAD AND SHOULDERS OVER EVERYONE IN THE STATE THIS YEAR.
OTHERS TO WATCH
SHANE VALKO IS A STUD
ART MOSS IF HE GETS IN THE RIGHT WT CLASS, HE COULD WIN GOLD
SEAN KISEL THIRD TIMES A CHARM
SIMON FOWLER, HARD WORKER,THIS YEAR IT WILL PAYOFF
TYRONE WILL MEDAL A COUPLE, MAYBE FOUR
CLAYSBURG GOT THEIR TWO STUDS BACK THIS YEAR,,,THEY WILL WIN HARDWARE.

I agree with a lot of those Bump...but I don't see Oberman going to states...Tate will probably win states for the simple fact that the HWT class is terrible since the inception of the 215 class (not to take anything away from Tate, but I don't think he will really be challenged). The one I really like though, Bump, is Downey winning a state medal. I've really liked his style since I first saw him wrestle as a freshman. I think he has the tools to win a medal, but the post season is all about mentality and I don't know the kid enough to know what he has in that department. I'm not sure about Horner medaling though. And, one question, does Berlin not have any finalists because they had an excellent class graduate or because Coach Lorson left? I'd say that they will have atleast one (probably more) finalist...possibly D'carrion. Randy Pyle knows his wrestling too; I think he will make an alright coach.

For my own predictions:
Here's a bold one--NS is the D5 champs
Claysburg wins the Tri-County Tourny
Everett goes .500
Jacob Brambley is a district finalist
Andrew Nave is a state medalist
Brent Willison is at states
Brooks Emerick has a large impact for Hyndman

Tate will def. be one to look out for, but in my opinion, he will not win gold. rumor mill has it that D'con may not even wrestle.....not sure if there's any truth to it, but that is why i feel berlin will not have a finalist....who else to they have??? broadwaters?? kuhns??......and Oberman was a match away from making it to states this year...what's to stop him from taking it to the next level in his junior year??? i left out the bulldawg boys.... i think mcintyre and whetstone are top 3 in the state material.....
.........let's hear some more predictions....

There are only 2 returning placewinners at HWT. Tate (4th) and Braden Bice (5th). I don't see anyone coming out of the woodwork to touch these 2. Heck, Tighe is probably the only HWT in AAA that would stand a good chance at beating either of these 2.
