Hollywood, hate to say it, but with the weak schedule in the Big East, and with the many other college teams that will finish with 1 loss (on much tougher schedules), West Virginia won't get a BCS bowl even if they win out. That's even less likely if Oklahoma and USC continue to go undefeated.

As far as their game against Syracuse, they will win though. That's easy.

Flea...

The Big East Champ is guaranteed a spot in the BCS!

I also feel it will knock out a more deserving team though.

Hollywood and PR before you retort and get all mad think about it...

1 Big Ten team
1 Big 12
1 Pac 10
1 SEC
1 ACC
1 Big East
2 At large teams

I'll guess that the teams are Wisconsin, Oklahoma, USC, Auburn, Miami, WVU, FSU (at large), Texas (at large). IF Utah finishes undefeated then one of those at large teams probably won't get in since Utah does have a high ranking. Georgia, Michigan, Purdue, Cal, Virginia, Florida, etc won't get in...

Georgia in the Big East...probably playing for the NC (BUT they aren't in that conference). Since they aren't they don't get to go to a BCS game? I just think the system stinks this year...WVU is the ONLY Big East team though that would fit in. If somehow Pitt or BC gets there....I'll puke.

Well I think the only way that BC has a chance to get into the BCS and win the Big East is if they beat WVU...and that will make them more deserving than WVU since they did beat them

Dang, I forgot that the Big East got an automatic berth. That's such a stupid system though. I think that some C-USA teams (like Louisville) are tougher than West Virginia, and should be able to knock them out. But then, the BCS is all about money. Since Utah wouldn't bring much revenue, I don't know that Utah would get a berth even if they do finish undefeated. And they need to change that the Weak East gets an automatic berth. That is such a weak conference now (in football) that it isn't funny.

Flea Flicker why dont you take that up with the BCS commitee im sure they would like your vast knowledge of college football, however, just for your knowledge the Big East has a automatic bid for another 8 years they just renewed it last season.

I sure hope those ACC officals don't mess it up for WVU on Thursday night.
