U-18 Indoor Soccer Season

Or lack of!!!! Only one team for U-18 signed up for the upcoming season at Pro Care (in Bedford, Near Wal-Mart). I was looking forward to coaching .

Its really easy to win when you are the only team in your age group. But maybe some other time

no...it's not easy to win...can't win if you don't play...they dont' have a U-19 league now because no one signed up other than one ridge team

This past spring session there were only three girls teams for both U17 and U19, 2 from Berlin and 1 from Bedford. The one U17 team didn't win a game all season against my team and the Bedford team, but still was "first" in their division.

well...from what i hear there is only one u-17 team and no u-19 teams(would have been only one)...because it's probably a bad ideam having u-19 teams playing u-14 teams. i hear there's about 5-7 u-14 teams

when was the deadline for signups there? i heard a few people are playing in the all mens league. more teams there or something. I might hafta get myself on a team at some point, just got find a team that still needs a scrub.

Check the indoor leagues at the Summit. The competition is better than at Pro-Care even though the drive is longer. Last year, Altoona, Hollidaysburg, Huntingdon, Richland, and Northern Bedford had teams and players in the U-19 league and U-16 league there. I really believe one of the reasons for the success of these programs is the indoor leagues at the Summit. It is too late to get into the November-December league, but they also run one from January-March and that one tends to get more teams.

i played at the summit a few years ago but from what i rememebr i stopped playing there because it cost more for a team (or it did at the time i believe). besides, i dont feel like drivin to altoona that often. im lazy.

Last year, it cost $200 to put a team in at the Summit. At those prices, they should be able to put in a decent indoor field.

I hear you on that. The Summit's floor eats knees. I had to start the "Please donate your skin because the indoor floor ate mine" foundation.
