Seems that every Bedford team that has been undefeated has been very different from previous ones. Between the last 2 of this years and 2000 would be close. This team has more team speed than in 2000. I think the 2000 team was more well balanced though. They had a bigger line and better recievers. This team with the edge in running backs. Troy is more of a breakaway threat than Elbin but Elbin had the edge in passing and was very athletic himself. So basically I am saying I don't know who would win between them.

1989. Better than both current Bison teams. Left-eye, your grandpaps team of 1945 is considered by many to be the best bison team of all time.

What did the 2000 team do after the regular season ended?

Yes thats what I've heard. I have to say the 1989 team is the best of my lifetime though. To bad they didn't have the current playoff system in place that year. They would have had a real shot at a title. My grandfather told me his undefeated team would have whooped mine! (94) lol I think we had the advantage though. Would have prolly hurt them with only having leather helmets to ours with facemasks and all. Plus they were past their primes when we played. If i'm not mistaken pappy left-eye was the first county f-ball player to play in the big 33 game. Don't know if it was called that then though????

Lost in the Playoffs to what I believe was an undefeated Bellwood team in overtime. Some say the best game ever played at Bedford's field.

Yup! It is really tough to compare teams from different times.

Yeah too hard to compare teams from long ago because the game has changed so much over the years!
