Berlin
WOW ... where did they come from...
a come-from-behind-win against somerset
a well fought game against j-town... (better than expected atleast)
WIN OVER TWP ... whoa ... who saw that one coming ... not andy byer(how'd he let that happen!?)
now what.... i think they play connemaugh valley tonight... if thats right who do you pick? probably gonna be a good game ... lupec-mcormic.... nice match up....
and on tuesday i think its a berlin - north star game ... again a tough game... i'd give the edge to north star ... but wow, berlin starts off pretty tough this year, and are (so far) making the most out of it.....
what do you think
what to look for in:
berlin - cv
&
berlin - north star
??? please post ....???

Well, Berlin lost a close one to CV last night, but I'm not sure how the North Star game next week will go. From what I've seen in the papers, it looks like Berlin has a good perimeter game with Jake Zorn, Donnie Zeigler, and Bobby Czekaj lighting it up for 3s often. Jared McCormick is an all around player that can post up inside, shoot the three and has good hands and ball skills. North Star lost a lot from last year by having Drew Shubik graduate, but they're always well coached no matter who is running the show and should be tough. I'm really not sure who could win this matchup. It'll all depend on if Berlin can stay in the game early and hit their foul shots. I haven't seen them play yet this year, but I watched every game they played for the past three years when I did stats for them, and those were their major trouble spots before.

Re: Berlin
i think that the berlin-north star game will be a good one on tuesday night....if youre not busy i would highly advise to attend in boswell((im pretty sure its at north star)) ive watched both teams play this year and i rate them both a B- er so....but in the weak west pac this year...hey thats good enough to be a competitor.....i think the winner of this game will be decided at the guard postion....czejk and zorn are decent ball players and TAKE CARE OF THE BASKETBALL.....something i didnt see out of the north star guards....mignona or however his name is spelled turned the basketball over quite a bit however did look good taking it to the basket in the game i watched when they played rockwood.......#10 that comes off the bench for NS is a solid player and can take it to the hoop very well.....josh ryan #20 i think.....is a great inside outside threat and takes care of the ball better than any of the 3 guards......in the trenches will be a good battle of mccormick and hornick with both being very strong and letting their defender get in foul trouble.......should be a good one.....i wont pick a clear cut winner but ill say the game is won by 8 pts. or less by whichever basketball team......should be a good game tuesday nite.......ill post results when the game is over....if i make it after work.....if not someone post the result if they get there before me.......
