T.O.

Post by Roy E. Munson »

Im wondering what everyone is thinking on whether T. Owens plays in the Super Bowl or not?? My prediction is he will do something similar to what Randy Moss did for the Vikes earlier in the year. After Moss suffered a hamstring injury he tried to play the next week and wasnt effective at all..he played just a few plays. If TO is able to be healthy enough to atleast be able to run some routes to be a decoy, it will help the eagles. I dont think we are going to see much from TO on super sunday if anything at all.

T.O. will be ready to play, he won't tell anybody that he is or will not be ready because imagine the wrinkle that his playing status adds to the Patriots D game plan. The scheme's will totally change if T.O. happens to play. Hopefully his play is a big as his mouth...

To this point, it definatly has been..

Honestly I dont see him making much of a difference as far as making plays.. Now I know he said he's recovering "amazingly fast" or something like that, but who wouldnt say that? Because like Munson said, if he's on the field he's going to have to be accounted for whether he's getting balls thrown in his direction or not

Steve Steve suffered a very similar injury to T.O. and it took him about 5 months just to start rehab and T.O. wants to come back in 5 weeks?

Although his leg didn't look like it hurt too bad jumping around on the bench against Atlanta.

I saw something on the bottom line on espn that T.O's doctor would NOT clear him to play for the super bowl...its still almost 2 weeks away but unless he improves quickly it looks like he is just gonna be on the sideline jumping around and flapping his arms like he did vs ATL.

Any of you stupid enough to think that if he plays he's not gonna get his *** knocked a few times?

I personally have no problem with him staying on the sideline flapping his wings.. It was FANTASTIC!

Seriously cracked me up
