Brent Willison

Post by sportsrus »

The finals match between Brent Willison and Chris Lascari had to be the best match of the Thomas Chevrolet Tournament, full of excitement from beginning to end. However, I could've went without the antics of the very much, STILL immature, Sal Lascari!

I would like to say that I think Brent Willison is a top-notch wrestler from the area who is very much over-shadowed because of the constant attention the Snyder boys get. Not that Josh and Jake don't deserve the respect and publicity...but I think Brent should share in this. When people talk of Hyndman wrestling, it's always about the "Snyder boys".
Brent definately proves to be right up there with those two. It's time he is given the credit due...or should I say over-due! He's not cocky, he's not flashy, he just wrestles and wrestles tough.
Well Brent, I want you to know that you showed the crowd that you are also a Stand-Out wrestler, and placed better than the Snyder boys in this tournament. Congratulations...we will root for you all the way to Hershey.

You are 100% correct sportsrus. Brent deserves a lot of credit...he is a top notch wrestler, but always gets shadowed behind the Snyder boys. The match between Willison and the Lascari boy was a great one. It was definately the most exciting match of the finals. I was disappointed to see that Brent lost though.

Brent is a top notch kid. I've known him for several years now and think very highly of him, his parents, and his younger sisters. His recognition is coming, he just has to keep doing what he has been doing.

I thought the two matches between the brothers and snyder/willison were two very good matches, and we will see them again most likely in the district finals. josh had to take tony down one time and I thought brent needed a takedown too. t.lascari wasnt near as good as he was taking paronish down, he didnt. Can someone let me know the score of Fowler and Millers match. Thanks

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach
