New Oxford (12-10) clinched a District #3-(AAA) playoff berth courtesy of the Greyhounds (15-6), riding 17 points from Drew Sneeringer to the road win. Brooke Hess and Ryan Chadwick shared 23 points to lead Shippensburg.
MILTON HERSHEY 67, CENTRAL MOUNTAIN 49:
The Spartans (18-3) won their fifth straight, using 23 points from Rich Flemming and 22 from Josh Pope to blast host Central Mountain (5-15). Pope added 12 rebounds and three steals, while Flemming contributed nine boards.
JAMES BUCHANAN 79, JUNIATA 49:
Facing playoff pressure, the Rockets (11-10) grabbed a 38-16 halftime lead and cruised against the visiting Indians (8-10). Shane Rife netted 21 to lead JB, which needs one win in its next two games -- vs. Boiling Springs, at Camp Hill -- to clinch a District #3-(AAA) playoff berth. Ben Allen bucketed 25 in the loss.
PALMYRA 76, NORTHERN LEBANON 41:
The host Cougars (12-9) clinched a District #3-(AAA) playoff berth by trouncing their county rivals. Jon Stutzman (15 points), Jeremy Keefer (13) and Tyler Love (12) scored in double figures for Palmyra.
PINE GROVE 52, UPPER DAUPHIN 42:
Despite 12 points from Drew Gunderman, the Trojans (6-13) lost to the host Cardinals, who boasted a big size advantage.
