I was surprised at Gordon's 11.3. That is smoking!! Can he run under 11 this year?

It was actually 11.21 but was rounded as per SOP.

Amy Whetstone running a 13.0 was also surprising. Can she get into the 12's?

Gordon had impressive marks for the 100 and 200 for the first meet of the year. They both bettered D. Harris's and Shane Fox times. They should be great races. What did bedfords 4x1 relay run? It wasn't posted in the paper. I was impressed with bedfords jumpers both the boys and girls. I wasn't impressed with CR's jumpers on either side. Although ben way did go 6 in the high jump.

bedford high jumpers have gotten bedford over the years...for the guys there are 3 or 4 guys that can jump 5'8" or higher. Derrick Harris jumped 5'10" for his first track meet against Bellwood the other night. To give you a few names of the guys high jumpers there are Shane Fox, Josh Marshall, BeBe, and John Henderson. Best of luck guys!

Now for the girls. There are also 3 or 4 girls that can jump all around the same height. Jackie Garlock placed 3rd in the meet against Bellwood with a jump at 4'6". I know she can do better than that from watching her at practice! There is also Katie Henderson and Amanda Young who is jumping around the same height. There is a lot of run for improvement with the new coach that they are working with. Good luck girls!
