NBC girls win Tri-State meet today....boys 5th

Congrats to the girls on a job well done today. I don't have all the place winners, but I do know the girls did very well. Catya Gilbert took 2nd in shot with another 33 foot throw. The winner threw 35!!! The 4x1 won, D. Hoover won the PV, and I'm not sure about other individual winners as I had to work events today. In boys, Drew Eshelman threw 40'11.5" to take 2nd (as the 6th seed or so coming in). That is a personal best for him. Swope placed 5th or 6th in disc as well. T. Hoover got 2nd in PV, and that is about all I remember off hand here. Jav was not an event because they don't have it in Md. Instead they had a 4x200 relay.

thats awesome that the girls won that meet has a lot of competition!

too bad the boys couldn't do any better!

how did brandon horton do in the 1600m and 3200m?

he was hurting a good bit I think....he needs to get healthey for later in the year.

Congrats to the NBC girls. A well deserved championship.

I saw that the meet was moved to Clear Springs. Was the track at Hancock in just to bad of shape to continue the meet their?

Its too bad that Ridge got "uninvited" several years ago because the meet was a lot of fun and its was nice to run against different teams.

yeah i thought ridge was supposed to be in that invite so i was wondreing what happened!
