"Baseball is what we were, football is what we have become."
"Watching football is like watching pornography. There's plenty of action, and I can't take my eyes off it, but when it's over, I wonder why the hell I spent an afternoon doing it."
is Altoona the only team in the state that gets to play for a district championship on its homefield? the only thing that compares i think is williamsport for baseball
Altoona has turf, most highschool teams don't get the chance to play on turf and since 'toona has it, it gives them the edge. Speed, cutting ability...any team that has to play another team that usually is on turf is at a disadvantage.
