Week 2 Saturday Picks
Lil' late this week, gotta get these in before I see any scores.
Kansas State vs. Marshall:

- I'm wondering about this KSU team. Bad year last year shouldn't screw up their depth too much. Give me KSU in a rather close game.
Clemson vs. Maryland:

- I just don't have faith in Friedgen anymore. Clemson by 3.
Notre Dame vs. Michigan:
-----------------------------------
- Speaking of not having any faith, Michigan is good for a loss or 2 every season. Notre Dame.
Virginia Tech vs. Duke:
---------------------------------
- VT has turned into a better program by playing better teams. I do not understand how Frank Beamer did this, it doesn't even make any sense, but VT is maybe the best team in the country. Tech huge.
Cincinnati vs. Penn State:
------------------------------
- Cincinnati has new helmets and that's good. Michael Robinson is still an @$$hole. PSU by 4.
Temple vs. Wisconsin:

- Our hometown Owls are in for one hell of a rough season. But let the haters hate and watch the money pile up. Wisconsin by 40.
Mississippi State vs. Auburn:

- Auburn doesn't have much left. Mississippi State is getting better, and that starts with the psychology of the players. Croom will do well. But Auburn will win this game.
Army vs. Boston College:

- The thing I love about the military schools nowadays is that they do not really participate in recruiting and whatnot like the other teams do. They are basically wild-card teams. I don't think I'd schedule a military school. But give me BC by 6.
Tulsa vs. Oklahoma:

- Another upset? I don't think even Bob Stoops could choke against Tulsa. OU by 1.
Liberty vs. UCONN:

- A stellar OOC game for a team who plays no one. UCONN by 33.
Akron vs. Purdue:

- I'm interested to see this Purdue defense. Purdue by 25.
Colorado State vs. Minnesota:

- Maroney is a man playing against children. He is filthy. Minnesota by 40.
San Jose State vs. Illinois:

- Keep your eye on this game if you have a chance to watch it. I'm serious. No, for real. Illinois by 3.

- I do love the fact that this turned into a big rivalry. These two teams woudn't even exchange tapes with eachother. Hawaii is terrible, and MSU is not happy with them. MSU by 29.

- Anything can and will happen in rivalry games. Look for an upset. ISU is back in the hunt in the Big 12 North. I'll take Iowa by 5.
