D5/6 AA Playoffs: Round 2

Post by flakjacket »

So with Round 1 of the playoffs in the books, and the games still fresh in our minds, what are some thoughts and predictions out there?

Bishop McCort at Tyrone and Marion Center at Forest Hills

Thoughts

Bishop McCort played one of, if not THE best half of their season. This is courtesy of their adjustments and a slight letdown by Bedford.

Marion Center vs. Chestnut Ridge... (see above, but replace BM with MC and B with CR)

Predictions

Forest Hills will not have a repeat of the Westmont game. They will go out and play hard and not look over this Marion Center team. FH 35-MC 6

McCort finally gets to win against Tyrone. I just don't think that Tyrone as the same amount of firepower they had last year. BM 27- T 21

i agree 100%....after seeing the bedford-mccort game, i saw a mccort team that played with something they havent played with much...their hearts!...if im tyrone im very concerned with the #5 seed...if they can play 4 quarters instead of 1.5...i dunno if there is a team out there that can beat them...they put up 21 points in 1 quarter...after being down 18 pts and not giving up...i think this game will come down to the wire...and if mccort puts the same effort into this game(which i think they will after losing 15-6 in the D6 game last year..and let me tell you..they still have that bad taste in their mouth) look for mccort to win this 17-14..domonkos...yah another field goal to make the differance sounds jsut about right

since i was a the b-bm game i was obviously not at the mc-cr game...however i dont think forest hills will have a problem with mc...i just think fh defense will chew up and spit out anything mc has to offer..fh offense will roll over mc defense too...28-3 final

McCort has the Line, the Backs, and of course the defense.Unfortuatley Tyrone is a disciplined team and they will give the Crushers a tough game! I see it being a fight out there and eventually the McCort's O-Line will just wear out Tyrone

McCort will outlast Tyrone 17-14

I bet Tyrone would have rather of played from the 2 seed position getting a game against Marion Center in the Semi's!Well luckily for the Rangers they get to play at home against Marion Center. They will have no trouble at all. Expect Rearick and Trout to convert plenty of times including a couple times in the End Zone.

Forest Hills rolls 42 13

I agree with what you Crusher folks have said on this thread, almost totally, except. Tyrone GOT their wake-up call, same as the Rangers. BM won't know what hit them. Tyrone by 3 TD's, if it's that close. You say BM got the wake-up call in the second half? Possibly, but I think Bedford let up with that lead. Rangers and Eagles one more time on the rug. It's OUR turn, Tyrone.

Gunner... just for that I am retracting my previous statement and picking the Golden Eagles. Anything that can make me spit water all over my laptop is worthy of support.

Wow! I can see picking Tyrone since they are the favorite, but 32 points isn't showing alot of respect for the Crushers. They are a solid team.

Tyrone 27 BM 24

FH 37 MC 8

I think the BM and Tyrone game could be a real good one.
