Tussey vs. Windber

Post by abpk2903 »

I have not made it to a Tussey game all year but I will be attending Friday Night at Bedford. I know Tussey was in most of their games this year does anyone think they can pull it off and beat the top three seeds in District 5 A?

I attended 2 home games and both playoff games this season and It's the first time since I graduated 13 years ago that I went to a game. I am surprised about how excited I have gotten to go back and watch these kids play.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make Friday's game because of a previous commitment. I really wish I could be there, though. I am pretty bummed that I can't make it.

I am sad to say I feel that the clock is about to strike midnight on the Titans. I have to go with Windber in this game.

I believe Tussey will continue to ride the momentum and emotion to a D5 Title over Windber. If any of you have ever been to a Tussey basketball game, you know how much their fans support their team, and how much their coaches expect of them. Their players may not have had the most skill, but they always, ALWAYS, give 110% and leave nothing on the court/field. Coach Steel has played for Dave Bailey and met his demands, and I'm sure he is expecting nothing less out of his players on the football field.

If Windber does happen to win this game, I'm sure it will be much closer than the experts think, and it will not be for lack of effort.

Good way of putting it snaphooker, but I still think that the Titans are in for a tough game Friday. If they played like they did the past 2 games, they'll be okay. I just hope that they players don't get cocky and think that they don't have to work for it, because they definitely have to work extremely hard for this one.

I think that if the Titans even come close to winning Friday night there'll be a statue of Coach Steele erected in the middle of Saxton. He's already done a lot for this team and I hope that he continue's to improve them over the year's and bring back the pride in our football program!

i think its gonna be the titans 32-21
they put a spanking on #2 seeded rockwood
and windber barely escaped meyersdale
windber had to score a last min touchdown to win the game

Rockwood lost to a deaf team. I wouldn't put to much on that win. They had a big win over NBC. That was huge for them, which kept their momentum going over Rockwood. Now they play a very good Windber team and have a chance to prove they are for real. However, I don't see it happening. I hope they do win, but I see Windber winning by at least 20 points.

This #2 Rockwood stuff is funny...

you guys must have no idea who they play. I am not trying to knock them, but it is their SECOND year of football. I'm glad TMT spanked them, but they should have...Williamsburg, Glendale, etc...they are all 2 to 3 TDs better than Rockwood. Rockwood had that record because of their schedule. They were the 3 seed last year and got beat up on too. You'll see next year when they get to the WestPAC.

I hope Tussey puts up a good fight....BUT....

Windber is too much for anyone in 5A. They'll win by 20+
