They will never.......
They will never.......
First we heard that PSU would NEVER schedule a Div I-aa team in football. Of course, Youngstown State is now coming to Beaver Stadium next September. Then we heard that Paul Posluszny would not enter the NFL draft after this season and would return to PSU for his senior year. Well, according to today's Post Gazette, Posluszny has filed paperwork with the NFL advisory board, a group of player personnel professionals who give underclassmen an unbiased, non-binding evaluation of where they might go in the draft. Deadline for underclassmen to declare for the NFL draft is Jan. 15th. After all, as many of you are inclined to believe, sports is a business, right?

How does that prove it is not a business?
Every kid who has a chance to turn pro fills out that paperwork. If he goes, he goes. Levi Brown is thinking of leaving too.

Won't this hurt PSU's graduation rate? Puz said that he will seek Paterno's advice about turning pro AFTER the bowl game. Wonder what JoePa's gonna tell him to do? After harping and harping on finances over the years, he'll probably tell him how important it is to get his degree.

Unless he gets brain-damaged, he can always get his degree. Surely he'll have the money for the tuition after signing for millions. What if he gets hurt in college during his senior year. In the same boat with NO money!!!!
