Wednesday December 21 is Joe Paterno's 79th birthday. He got an early birthday and Christmas gift by winning the AP Coach of the Year Award. Now for everyone out there that said in the last 5 years that Joe Pa needs to retire, step down, or is past his time here is the place for your apology. Joe Pa definitely proved you wrong by being the best of 119 coaches.

in an on campus tribute to joepa on his birthday some students interviewed for the centre daily times were quoted saying "we should honor our leaders from the past century ,history reminds us how far we have really come."
