34 and no more...

Post by count2infinity »

USC falls to the Texas Longhorns, which snaps USC's 34 game winning streak, one of the longest in history...so who's next? Who do you guys think, looking ahead to next year and possibly years past that, will win at least 34 straight? or can anyone do it in the near future?

Texas is at 20 now so if they go undefeated next year they will have 33 and all they would have to do is beat the first team on their '07 schedule to get 34. But it is still a long shot.

Penn St. what a joke, they will never ever do it (34 game win streak).

VINCE YOUNG.

You saw what he did to the USC defense. He'll single-handidly win all the games for them next year like he did this year. Texas will be very tough to beat next year with him at QB. It's a good thing OU is getting better and better...

I would like some apologies. I think I called this all season. TAE, once again showed that he doesn't know what he's talking about. Ham, was wrong. I believe most of you were all wrong. Way to go 'Horns. Also, Ham Penn State football is #3, buddy, not #2. Keep dreaming that they'd be ahead of USC.

apologies? you have got to be the most ridiculous poster on this entire board... if Texas had blown out USC, which they didn't, you might get some sympathy...but they beat them by 3 points and if it not be for some stupid mistakes by USC, texas would have lost...

Vince Young was great, as he has been for the entire season. Leinhart had a great game also passing against a great defense. If Texas and USC play ten times, they likely split them or close to it.

Anyone see Matt Leinhart at the post game press conference when he stated that the "better team did not win."? Classy.

Funny thing about streaks. Am watching PSU men play Ohio State right now in basketball, and the announcer just said that PSU has 32 consecutive Big Ten road losses. Some streaks are unbelieveable!!!
