Good news for Penn State; Posluszny

Post by ham55 »

He'll be sidelined for 6-8 weeks, just enough to keep him outta contention for the NFL combine. He has partial tears in his PCL and MCL and the injury does not require surgery. GREAT NEWS! Looks like the Bednarik and Butkus award winner will be back in the blue and white next year...

I'll be surprised if he actually stays. It's not a serious injury, but he could stay. That would be a big plus for PSU. However, I'm sure he's ready to count his dollars. How 'bout Marcus Vick? What's he going to do?

Great news for Poz.

His quote could be taken either way:

"I'm anxious to get started and get ready for the upcoming year. "

either meaning the 2006 season with the Lions, or the NFL. I guess by Jan 15 (date for declaring for the draft) we will know. I hope he stays, if only for the leadership he brings to the team. PSU is pretty solid at LB for the next several years. If I had to pick at this moment, I think he stays, but it's not a lock.

if he's smart, he will stay...aj hawk would have gone before poz even when poz was healthy, so now he definetly wont be the number 1 lb, not to mention few teams are willing to risk a first round pick on a guy thats on the DL
