What about the rest of the Bison bench?

Post by SpeedyLDB14 »

I was just wondering if there was much of a bench after Derrick, Troy, & Marshall... Because what I'm reading alot is that they should man press, and push the ball alot.. But the only guys that I am hearing anything about for Bedford are those 3... Is there anyone else who is going to contribute to help them out?

Seniors Earnie Sotirokos and Lance Waltman could prove to be key contributors this season. Also Juniors Shane Fox, Chris Stiffler, and Andrew Stiffler will mostlikely step up and help out the trio that you're speaking of.

We cant forget the silky smooth Son of Bruce either. He did a nice job last year for the JV squad.

Oh yeah, forgot about Son of Bruce. He'll also probably be a solid contributor for them this season.

What are the probable starting 5 for the Bisons this year. Will it be, Sotirokos, Waltman, Harris,.....

Who else will be part of the starting five? Will Deek harris be a contributor, hell just put him on the floor and let him talk, the opposing team wont want to listen to him, they will either leave or hit him right in the mouth, and either one would satisfy me.

The line up will probably be a guard oriented one. I'm gonna say the line up looks like this:
G- Troy Harris
G- John Marshall
G- Lance Waltman
F/G- Shane Fox or Deek Harris
F- Earnie Sotirokos or Shane Fox

The bisons will run a 4 guard offense as long as they can against smaller teams. The only two that are mostly set are t. harris and prolly waltman.
Hopefully rarely will both fox and sotirokos be on the court at the same time unless we have to match up against to big posts.

Coach Waltman should be able to play a lot of people. I know it's important to sometimes have a regular starting five, but this squad looks like that could change on a weekly basis.

the gator only sees the bisons play once a year (this year in the terror dome or as largeman states the homer dome) but.....is there really a chance that the younger Harris boy won't start. He really impressed gator in JV last year.

You can't judge JV play of last year with who will be good in varsity this year..JV is a brand of ball like no other..
