J.J. Redick - D.U.I.

Post by Heaven&Hoops »

Everybody's all-american, JJ Redick was arrested at a DUI checkpoint last night after making an illegal u-turn while trying to avoid a liscense checkpoint.

With the NBA draft just weeks away, Redick may have cost himself a lot of money.

When are these prima donnas gonna learn?

You think this was bad? AJ Nicholson from FSU just got drafted by the Bengals and still thought it was a good idea to go steal 1000 dollars worth of electronic equipment from a teammate's apartment. He also left a trail of blood from a broken window and his idiot accomplice, WR Fred Rouse, actually left one of his receiver's gloves in the aprtment during the burglary!!!

Dont the cops automatically chase you down if they see you make a u-turn to avoid a checkpoint? So drunk or not, Reddick was finished.

I guess when you are the most overrated player in recent NCAA basketball history, it makes sense to knock back a few cold ones and then go for a drive.

I can't wait until someone makes this a Penn State, Joe Paterno, "Nobody Got Hurt" topic...

When someone offers you a couple of Bruskies, what's a guy to do? At least "no one got hurt". And he had enough sense to do a u-turn, and no go down a one-way street the wrong way. That just about sums it up.

In Paterno's mind it's O.K. As long as nobody got hurt, that is.

This is a good one. Did anyone read the Tribune Democrat sports page today? Article entitled Judge Refuses to Let Solich Withdraw Plea: "A judge refused to let Ohio Coach Frank Solich withdraw his no contest plea to a drunken driving charge. Solich had asked to drop the plea based on his claim that he was not drunk, BUT WAS SLIPPED THE DATE RAPE DRUG 'GHB'. Judge William Grim found that even if he had ingested the drug, Solich was STILL under the influence of alcohol".
