I'm going to submit a write-in vote...I believe the number of jump balls will surpass the number of points and fouls combined. We might have to break out our jump ball chant for this weekend's festivities.

The early line on jump ball totals are: 13.5 for the girls consy and 9 in the finals. wagers may be placed at the ticket window! j/k

I recall fondly when Art Walter was around our scoreboard operator posting the number of traveling violations called in one of the wrestling scoring areas of the scoreboard. He hit over 20 one night. As coaches, game workers, and game managers we used to throw a buck in the pot and guess the number of walking violations as a poll when Art came to town.

Great post HR. lol. Art was the walking king. I think that he called travelling when he didn't know what else to call.

I used to tease Art that he was going to break the state record for career traveling violations called. One of the funniest things I ever saw was at Central Holiday Tournament one year, Don Appleman (then Williamsburg BOYS coach) called a Timeout with one second to go, down 10 pts. to the dragons. He got his kids together at midcourt, where he could put on a "performance" and so that all in the Gym could hear cautioned his players that .... "Guys...There's still a second left and that is enough time for Art Walter to call a walk....so be careful out there"

Hilarious.
