SOMERSET - Nicole Sterner netted two goals to help lead Rockwood's 2-1 win over Somerset Saturday in girls varsity soccer.
Goalkeeper Joanna Ringer made 12 saves as the Lady Rockets improved to 5-2-1.
Megan Suter scored Somerset's lone goal.
“Every Rockwood girl came ready to play an aggressive game,” said Rockwood coach Nate Bergstresser. “All the girls stepped up to the challenge the speedy Somerset girls presented. They did a good job of moving the ball around the field. The girls played a great game, the best of the season so far.”
