I can't believe there has been no talk about the 5-2 Panthers vs the 4-3 Lions. I believe the Lions have more size and speed but the muddy field condions could keep it close for a while. CR-24 NBC-8

Boss. How muddy is the field? Is it as bad as it has been in the past at this time of year? Muddy field could slow down both offenses

It isn't torn up yet but there isn't enough sod to hold it together with all the rain we have gotten. I expect it to start to get pretty slippery until half time.

The field definitely was treacherous in places but both offenses were able to put up some good numbers

Ridge could make some noise down the stretch if they could just make a few adjustments. First, NO TURNOVERS, the mark of a good team is to take care of the football. Everyone needs to make ball security a top issue, it almost cost them the game on Friday and it will cost them the game against Bedford. Second, tighten up your coverage, either by giving less of a cushion or going to man once in a while to mix up coverages. They have great athletes in the secondary that could match up with most recievers they will see. This could also help with their run support you would not always committ 6 or 7 to run cover 3. Basicly, keep the other team guessing as to what they will see in coverage. If they did those two things, they could be very tough down the stretch.
