Haven't seen Bedford play this year, but read all the articles about them. Sounds like they have a turnover bug. If that continues in this game, it may be closer than most people predict.

But, Ridge seems to come out in all their games asleep at the wheel. Then the defense tightens it up and they let their running game take over. They cannot come out asleep against Bedford and expect it to be close. If Ridge can survive the 1st quarter, holds on to the ball and can run it against Bedford's defense, it may be close.

I don't expect all that to happen though.

This is the most firepower Ridge will see all year on both sides of the ball. If Swaim just calls the right mix of plays, Ridge will be spinning in circles on D all night long.

Ridge could very well go 2 weeks in a row to close the season and not score a point!

Bedford 28
Ridge 0

(Bedford pulls starters at the end of the first half to rest and prevent injury before the McCort game)

I agree bdftbll... CR hasn't seen anything close to this all year. Bedford is having a down year (relatively speaking of course), but this might be just what they need before the McCort game. I'm thinking he might keep some starters in just for the rivalry. But they will see limited time in the second half to mitigate injuries.

BEDFORD 35 vs Chestnut Ridge 7
