Opening night Hoops results....

Let's try to get a new topic basically daily with results of any local games. Tonight I think basically everyone gets started. I know I'll be on later hoping to find NBC results, so post em if you got em.

What is tonight's best opener? I think Eve-Bed boys could be decent. If TM and Central win tonight, that sets up a nice game tomorrow night at CHS.

Bedford lost to Everett tonight. Not sure of the final score, but Everett ended up winning by 10 or more. It was a well played game, Bedford just hit the wall and tired out in the middle of the 3rd and could never recover.

Everett was down 19-18 at the half. Packed house tonight @ EHS, and the new gym gets it's first action at BHS tomorrow night. SHOULD be a good day of action for boys and girls basketball tomorrow.

Coach, you will get that matchup between Central and Tussey. Tussey over Williamsburg 48-29 and Central destroyed Juniata Valley 70-15. Should be 2 good games tomorrow night with JV and W-burg at 530 and CHS vs Tussey at 7.

I am going to Motown tomorrow to see Rutgers and WVU, so I won't get to actually see that game in Martinsburg. I'd love to see it... but I think I'll see a good game tomorrow night. I think I might be a Rutgers rooter tomorrow too because I'd like to see them make the BCS, and even with a win the Eers won't get to the BCS.

Any other results...? Man I was hoping to find more info when I got home.

NB Girls over CR 32-30
CR Boys over NB 60-35...2 pt game at the half

Eve boys and girls both won. The girls really beat up on Bedford as the Bisons only scored 17 I believe.

Finals:
Boys- Eve vs. Ridge
Girls- Eve vs. NBC

I still think one of the better games might be CHS vs. TM tonight. I'll be interested to see who wins that one. I'll take CHS in a close one at home.

Lady Titan Tipoff Tournament:

Conemaugh Township- 56
Living Word Academy- 33

Claysburg- 61
Tussey Mt.- 32

Great match up today at 3:30 between Conemaugh Township and Claysburg. Both are outstanding teams and Township may be a little more well rounded. It should be a high scoring affair. My prediction for what its worth: Conemaugh Township by 5.

everett boys beat ridge 45-44 for 1st and bedford boys beat nbc for 3rd .. not sure of that score tho .. everett girls beat nbc for 1st and not sure of that score or what happened with ridge and bedford girls either..
