ALTOONA – The seventh annual Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association (PSFCA) East West All-Star game is set for June 23 at Mansion Park and a local player has been chosen for the West Team.

Bishop McCort fullback/linebacker Scott Lewis joins 33 other western Pennsylvania football players chosen for the team.

PSFCA members selected the players during a two-day process at Penn State.

John Franco of Tyrone High School will be the West coach while Steve Shiffert of Easton Area High School will lead the East team.

Why Franco well seeing that he is one of the best coaches in the state almost ever year, Why not. And after a good year tis year when no one thought they would be any good. Franco is one of the best coaches around and I expect many more playoffs apperances and wins he just plain old good.

i just think that the colubia's coach is darn good, what 4 state championships ina row? just wondering if someone more deserving should get to coach, thats just me tho...hell as long as the west wins i could care less

I agree with you on, (as long as the WEST wins ) !!!!

Don't forget Columbia H.S. area, has a lot more to pick from than B. McCort does... they should be good / better with or without good coaches.

Is that S. Columbia? The team that is A, but it has a AAA feeder school that keeps their enrollment down while they reap the rewards.
