Former Lion is a True Pioneer.

"I'll have my revenge, Bon Jovi!!! I'LL go down in a blaze of glory!!!"

From a Rivals.com article:

"Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers head coach Rich Ingold is excited about his newest addition. Ingold discussed the team’s recent signing of former Penn State quarterback Zack Mills. The Pioneers are a member of the Arena Football League 2. Ingold met up with Mills back in October and has been in constant contact with him since."

Rich Ingold is a genius in the AF2. Here's another part of that article:

"You don't need a cannon in arena football – remember the field is only 50 yards," Ingold said. "A lot of it is to have touch on your throws and to be accurate. He's an accurate passer.

He is an accurate passer no doubt. Nooo doubt. No doubt about it. Noooo doubt about that one. Hell, I can name about 600,000 Penn State fans off the top of my head who will punch me in the face if I try to tell them that Zack Mills is an accurate passer.

More insanity:

"Bascially, I have a real close relationship with the Philadelphia Soul [of the Arena League] organization and I help them with their tryout camps," Ingold said. "The guys who don't fit in with them I usually get in contact with. They already have Tony Graziani at quarterback, so that's where I got to meet Zack at the tryout. I've called him every two weeks, and I feel he is the right fit."

When the guy who championed some kind of 'Old West/Hair Metal' alliance passes you up, its time to punch out.

Yep, Tony Graziani. Former Oregon Duck blowhard, former Barcelona Dragon, now a member of Bon Jovi's Philadelphia Soul. Let me tell you something, if you are sitting the bench behind a guy who graduated from Oregon in about 1990, AND he's the SECOND best Barcelona Dragon QB you can name (Tony Rice, Notre Dame), maybe it's a good idea to hang up your cleats and call it a day, move back to Fredrick, Maryland and start a career in alcoholism. Hey, that's just my own opinion.

But, Rich Ingold has come up with multiple brilliant schemes that have won him many, many titles. This season for the Pioneers, they have what they believe is the best defense in the league. As we all know, the arena leagues are all about offense, and scoring points. Well, Ingold confided to me in an interview 4 seconds ago that signing Zack Mills is a excellent way to give his Pioneers the best shot to win games. He figures that Mills can lure the opposition into a false sense of security by taking multiple 10 yard losses, and throwing interceptions on screen passes. The latter is something that many pro scouts and football gurus raise an eyebrow at, but is an integral part of Mills's game that he has shown he is incredible at achieving on a very consistent basis. Great defense and zero offense is how you win games nowadays, and how the Bears won the Super Bowl.

I thought the same thing vman. It's a good thing Mr. Amaechi didn't play for Rene Portland.... he may not have made it through PSU.
