Tri-County League, 4 D6 champs
Gotta love the way Myers, Feathers, Jacoby and Foor came through when the #1 seeds just wouldn't go Myers', Jacoby's or Foor's way. Congratulations to those champs and the others and good luck to all as you prepare for the War Memorial.

I watched those matches, Myers, Foor, and Jacoby. Myers, came out a little excited and got caught. He was down 4-1 early. Link was very quick, and I think Myers underestimated that. But the senior maturity came through, and he patiently overcame the hurdle and completely wore Link down. Link was no match for him. Foor, had his guy pinned it seemed, but the refs didn't see it that way. (you know how you can see better from the stands thing) But he got the lead and just held his own, a pretty uneventful match. Jacoby, had his kid beat in the last seconds of the final period, but again the ref. didn't think he deserved his nearfall points. It shouldn't have gone into overtime, at least that was the way it looked from the bleachers. Jacoby had his hands full, but stood his ground and prevailed.

As a loyal person, I am loyal first to my own team, then my county, my district, my state and so on. So I take pride in the fact that the league that I wrestled in did well in one of the state's top districts.
Keeping with that loyalty, I'd like to see some true Pennsylvanians take it to the Delewarian next week at the War Memorial.
