Whats wrong on top of the hill??

Post by sreleets55 »

Does anyone think it is possible for the Westmont Hilltop baseball team to actually win a game or two, maybe. Can this team please get some motivation to perform well, come on senior leaders.

It all starts with the coaching. The coach they have has to my knowledge, has ever had a winning season. The coaches are not good at coaching the bases and the way they handle the pitchers nobody understands.

It's not the coaching. Knupp and Stenger are two of the best coaches in the area.

jtwngrays, so who are you? Ray Stenger or Paul Knupp? Or maybe Chris Pfiel?

You're dead on hoop. All coach Knupp and coach Stenger care about are how they're going to be doing when their Junior League schedule rolls around. Ray Stenger is the biggest horse's patootie I've ever had the misfortune of watching, and I've never felt that it was appropriate that McCort's and Westmont's coaches get together in the summer for Gray's baseball. How can you build a rivalry or some semblance of one when the coaches are compromised by extraneous goings-on?

Flex,

It's Chris Pfeil. Since you want to call out names, who are you?

Stenger has volunteered to coach in the AAABA for more than 20 years and has coached high school for over 10 years for peanuts. A real bad guy giving up all that time to help kids. I have countless players that have played college baseball that will tell you that Knupp and Stenger know what they are doing.

I could care less if you think it is appropriate or not. High School and AAABA have absolutely nothing to do with each other. When Knupp and Stenger joined the Grays coaching staff in 2001, I was coaching BASKETBALL at Bishop Carroll. Presently, I coach BASKETBALL at Bishop McCort. I don't understand your comment at all.
