mma without a doubt, it has interested me so much that I take kickboxing lessons and jui jitsu lessons. I used to be a huge boxing fan but boxing is so watered down and corrupt.

MMA is just as bad, though. At least, it's getting headed down that road. They can act all they want like its a sport, but at the end of the day its entertainment and thats how they base their decisions in the office.

i'm going with MMA on this one and i don't think that there's going to be anyone on here that will tell you any different. It's more entertaining... plain and simple.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

My take would be the more unpopular one I'm afraid. Not that Boxing doesn't have it's share of problems, but.....

Streetball is to Basketball
like Arena Football is to Football
like Indoor Soccer is to Soccer
like WWF is to College/Olympic Wrestling
like MMA is to BOXING

Someone said it here best.....It's about entertainment and MMA is hot.
Sportswise, Boxing is more recognized and more pure sport In my humble opinion. And I realize I'll be in the minority here.

Count, thats actually the article that spawned this post.

IDK what you guys mean that this isnt a sport, just entertainment. These guys are good boxers, good wrestlers, just they cannot focus on one disipline. Boxing is a one trick pony.

in a boxing match boxer wins in the cage mma wins but if u have a combination of both i think that an mma guy would have a better chance of stealing a round at boxing then a boxer has in the octagon

like i said, boxers are the best at boxing, but mma fighters are more well-rounded.

If a boxer was put on the ground in the octgagon, its over. but if he stays up and boxes, he probaly would win. Thats assuming he doesnt get caught on a wall, or taken down. I believe if one of those happen to him in the octagon, he's done.
