What I believe Sports is referring to is the Keystone club off of the PA Football News website that someone copied onto a post at LH Sports. It has nothing to do with the all-state nominations. That comes down to individual coaches mailing in the forms for who from their team they think deserves it,and some people who may never have seen half the kids even play once, deciding on who gets it.Alot of politics! Now the PFN all-state team,I give a little more credance to simply because Tom and Rich do alot of travelling and see most of the best kids and teams play and can make a little better annalysis. At least that's what I think.

Those are the nominations, not the teams, but the people that are nominated. The teams will be announced next week sometime I believe.

You can go here to find all the players nominated at every class, just go to the bottom of the page after it talks about the PSU recruits on the lists:

Wait a minute...something doesn't make sense...Bedford has 2 nominees, CR has 3, Central has 2 and all at the tougher "AA" level. Everett at "A" has None?????? Not saying anyone is undeserving that was nominated but by "A" standards Everett had a much more successful season than Central, more successful than Bedford, and similar success as CR in their "AA" classification. Shouldn't have Adam Miller or Wes Garland at WR, Sloan Clingerman at DB, or perhaps Wade Grimes at LB have been nominated?

A and AA go together as a "small school" category, and that may be their coaches/opposing coaches faults for not nominating them. No Everett player would make it anyway, neither will the Central or CR players so no worries. Fochtman on there? I almost burst out laughing when I read that, ABSOLUTE JOKE! Koenig will make it, Giles may make 3rd team as a LB, Schellhammer will be in the honorable mention category, Larod will be 1st team. Other than that there may be no others.

Sports999....They changed it for this year..."A-AA" used to go together as small school. As of this year Associated Press is dividing it up into 4 categories. Thus my point about Everett is valid I think.

What's the system for selecting the all-state teams?
