somerset- better team than forest hills again
forest hills- same old good team
BG- i think they're going to have a good showing in their first year in the conference
mccort- harrington and boyd
richland- gray and novotny will be the leaders
heights- fees will be the main man since vescovi graduated
central cambria- no names stickin out...nalisnick wont be a threat anywhere but their home field that has an extremely short outfield
westy- mccdonald? maybe? def not the valchef's
bedford
bishop carroll- absolutly no one
penn cambria- bono is small and quick...will steal some bases

CC's luke Trotz is gonna rock the lhac this year. He once hit a homerun 598 ft. rumor has it that the BoSox have been seen at his practices and he'll go pro right out of high school-forget the minor leagues!! All conference and all state

Come on guys... you have to pay attention to the facts. As a native of Ebensburg and alum of CC i have to say you guys are overlooking some major detailed players. Now I understand they may not compete with power-houses Forest Hills and such but in the Legion league they did have somerset on the ropes to loose it in the 7th. These guys, for the most part, are all coming back. Westmont, please, CC will take them. They beat Richland last year in a frustrating and completely underachieving season. As for the all-conference player prediction... wow. Are you blind? Nalisnik is a favorite but there are between 4-6 players who have a legit shot. Where was McGregors name? He's a single machine won it last year with a .500 BA!!!! The Cornetti kid just might have the best swing from the left side in the Highlands as well as a canon down to second. Nalisnik will hit .400 and strike as many. Petrosky is the best athlete i've ever seen and as long as he can get in a groove, could lead the league in runs and sbs (very comparable with George Roberts). Drew Klezek didnt do squat in high school and that could of been because he broke his wrist and missed a season, but his summer ball was very impressive. He had somethin like a 2.5 ERA. Luke Trotz hit 2 HRs as a freshman and played in traveling teams all summer in Puerto Rico, if he can cut down his strikeouts Trotz could fill in a nice 5 slot in the order, but is a defensive liability. I'm not saying this team will go undefeated and win a state championship, but I know alot of them are working hard this off-season and if coaching doesnt let them down, i would bump them to a 3-4 spot in your rankings and add a few players to their possibilities of All-Conference.

Luke Trotz is deffinatly not goin Pro let alone out of high school...throw him a fast ball and he'll strick out everytime, at least what i saw in keystone tryouts and the games hes got a long way to go. A couple kids from CC down in the keystones are decent tho, in a few years they should be alright.

I hardly believe he hit a homerun that far, and the BoSox wont waste their time on a kid thats in 10th grade on a team like CC maybe when hes a senior he'll be alright

haha yea really. From what ive heard the kid choked this summer playing for josh day's boilers. that trotz kid is talked up way too much.

Ok none of you know anything about Luke Trotz.... He is the most dedicated player I've seen - He has been recomended to the Boston Red Sox.... they have not been at practices.... He has been recieving letters from D1 schools already such as Ohio Unv. And since u dont know..... scouting starts when u are in 10th and 11th grades, it is over your senior year you should be already commited to a school.
